That was sweet--I'm glad I got to meet your Dad once years ago.

After my father died and was cremated, we decided to spread his ashes in Central Park--my mother found "the perfect spot" under some trees right near 5th ave.....unfortunately several thousand people were around to witness this illegal act, so we walked and walked and found a nice spot in a wooded area known as The Ramble. LAter I remembered this was a notorious gay pick up spot!! Oh well, my Dad would've laughed his ass off no doubt at the shenanigans going on around his remains....I often ran in the park and thought of him all the time...

I mentioned you to my mom a little while ago and to this day you remain "red headed Dave".

We spread most of his ashes in a lake in the Orchard Park town park, but the plan was always to get a bit of him back home.

Very touching, Eric. Glad I got to meet your Dad as well. I thought of you both as I cheered the Dutch on in Euro 2008.

Eric,
Sorry to double-post. (You can delete anyway.) My email is ehecht@digitalhecht.com. I think I took a shot in the dark and sent an email to "vanruysdam@roadrunner.com" a while back, assuming you were still on Adelphia. Anyway, drop me a line. VERY HAPPY to hear you are still playing with Mike and the gang (according to Jen's Tweets, it's a good thing.)
